The Museum
With over 200 historic windmills and turbines on display, the museum’s collection covers two exhibit halls and spans from the 1860 to current production.

The Linebery Windmill Park
The park features a wide variety of working windmills.

Galleries and Collections
Inside the main galleries you will find over 200 rare and restored windmills and wind turbines. You can also observe the relationship between railroads and windmills with a large model train layout of the South Plains.

The Alta Reeds Collection
Miniature houses built by Mrs. Alta Reeds and her husband James W. Reeds are incorporated into the model train layout. Impressive!!

The Garrison Family Millstone Collection
One of the largest collections of grinding mill stones are on display. These mill stones date back to the 1700’s.

“Legacy of the Wind” Mural
On two walls of the events center, the mural covers 6,000 square feet of wall space. It is a “must see” art piece.

Windsmith Gift Shop
The Windsmith Gift Shop features a wide variety of wind related souvenirs as well as train related items. It is a great exhibit in itself!
